Genital wart treatment
Genital wart treatment
As with other infections, there is no definitive treatment with an oral medication, cream or vaccine in the treatment of HPV today. Once the virus enters the body, it remains insidiously in the body for years, even for a lifetime, depending on the strength of the immune system and the strength of the virus. However, the lesions it causes, namely warts, must be treated and burned without losing time.
The aim is to prevent the rapid spread and transmission of the virus with treatment and at the same time to destroy the warts, that is, condylomas, formed by the virus, and to bring the genitals to a healthy and hygienic condition.
In the treatment of genital warts, surgical excision (removal of the lesion with surgery), cryotherapy (freezing), laser wart treatment, cautery (burning) treatments, antiviral creams and drug treatments are applied.
In our clinic, genital wart treatments, especially wart treatment with laser, are performed.
