Urinary Incontinence (incontinence) Treatment
Urinary incontinence (incontinence) can be seen in different ways.
In cases such as coughing, sneezing, and straining that increase intra-abdominal pressure due to bladder prolapse, urine escapes. In this type of urinary incontinence, operations that support the bladder wall and prevent sagging can be applied. Today, there are non-surgical treatments with photona gynecological laser applications for this type of urinary incontinence. Very good results are obtained in suitable patients with gynecological laser applications, which is a treatment method that is easier for the patient, without anesthesia, without stitches, and does not require hospitalization. In our clinic, gynecological laser applications for urinary incontinence and vaginal tightening are performed with Fotana Laser.
Urge Incontinence: It is related to the bladder muscles and nerves and there is a problem of urinary incontinence without situations that increase intra-abdominal pressure such as coughing and sneezing. In such cases, with appropriate examinations and tests, the type and cause of urinary incontinence is determined and medical treatments are applied with some drugs. Bladder exercises (Kegel exercises) should be added to the treatment in both cases.
If there are urinary tract and vaginal infections, they must be treated. Infections are conditions that trigger frequent urination and urinary incontinence.
